Paris Arnopoulos Annual Lecture by Elizabeth S. Greene

The Canadian Institute in Greece has the pleasure to invite you to the 2025 Paris Arnopoulos Annual Lecture, an event which will make use of Classical Greek studies in the analysis of contemporary social phenomena and problems.

This year’s event, “Migration, Immigration and Refugees through the Ages: Comparative Views on the Movements of People”, will address issues of human displacement through the ages, the meaning of hospitality with regards to immigration, and the long-term and multifaceted relationship between the sea, the coast, and the peoples.
