Alexandros a grandi \u00e0 quelques pas des<br\/>\u03c0\u03b1\u03c1\u03ac\u03b3\u03ba\u03b5\u03c2 ou \u00abbaraques\u00bb sur les rives de la rivi\u00e8re Ilissos, l\u2019un des nombreux camps<br\/>de l\u2019agglom\u00e9ration d\u2019Ath\u00e8nes, cr\u00e9\u00e9s avec l\u2019arriv\u00e9e des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s \u00e0 la suite des \u00e9v\u00e9nements d\u00e9vastateurs de<br\/>la Catastrophe d\u2019Asie Mineure de 1922.<br\/>D\u00e8s l\u2019\u00e2ge de treize ans, fascin\u00e9 par l\u2019ing\u00e9niosit\u00e9, la simplicit\u00e9 et le sens de la communaut\u00e9 \u00e9manant de ces<br\/>structures, \u00e9rig\u00e9es dans des conditions d\u2019extr\u00eame pauvret\u00e9, il a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 les photographier et, plus tard, en tant<br\/>qu\u2019\u00e9tudiant, \u00e0 les documenter sous forme de croquis et d\u2019aquarelles. Son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour ces<br\/>structures s\u2019est maintenu au cours des d\u00e9cennies suivantes, en collaboration avec son \u00e9pouse, la photographe canadienne<br\/>Liane Lefaivre. Ce travail se trouve aujourd\u2019hui dans les archives Alexander Tzonis et Liane Lefaivre \u00e0<br\/>la Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France.<br\/>La pr\u00e9sentation de cette exposition dans les locaux de l\u2019Institut canadien de Gr\u00e8ce est particuli\u00e8rement<br\/>bienvenue, car le b\u00e2timent est situ\u00e9 sur les rives de l\u2019ancienne rivi\u00e8re Ilissos et a \u00e9t\u00e9 la maison de<br\/>l\u2019\u00e9crivain Stratis Doukas, lui-m\u00eame r\u00e9fugi\u00e9 en 1922.<\/p>\n\n<p>Lundi-Mercredi-Vendredi, 10.00-14.00 &#8212;&#8211; Mardi-Jeudi, 17.00-20.00.<\/p>\n<div
