Services

The Institute’s staff act as liaison between Canadian scholars and the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Through CIG’s Athens offices members can obtain passes allowing free entry to the archaeological sites and museums of Greece, as well as advice on the logistics of travel and planned itineraries. Members can also apply though CIG for permission to study objects housed in Greek museums, and for permission to carry out excavation and archaeological survey in Greece.
